First Summer Escapade 2013
Last March 9 (Friday), our planned trip to Sorsogon with some of our neighbors was finally realized. Because Sorsogon is quite far from Naga City, we left around 5:30AM. The weather that time says it’ll be rainy but I thought maybe the weather in Sorsogon will permit us to take a 30-minute boat ride.
Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with our plans. We, then, decided not to force ourselves to spend the night in a beautiful island named Subic. I was very disappointed due to this. I was so excited to see the fine, white sand, have bonfire at night and toast some hotdogs, and see the sunrise the next day.
Anyway, we end up staying in a beach resort in Gubat, Sorsogon after almost five hours of road trip. Honestly, I don’t like it at all. The beach was very dirty, and the sand is kinda rocky, with lots of baby crabs! o_o
Later that afternood, the sun showed up so my mood brighten a bit. Our vanity strike so my sisters and I had our mini-photoshoot. ;)
The next day, my siblings woke up early because they were too excited to swim. I, on the other hand, woke up a bit late, 8 o’clock to be exact. I found them on the seashore already wearing their swimwear.
I thought the beach was still dirty so I decided not to swim or even walk along the seashore, ever.
This is my favorite part of the resort where I spent most of my time, reading a book on my phone or just enjoying the view.
The place was really nice, actually. It was like a small town or something. :)
And oh! We also met these cute little puppies there! They are actually for sale. They were very friendly and playful too! *u*
The weather next day was so much better. In fact, I wished the weather that time was the same the other day. Edi sana natuloy kami sa Subic Island. Huhuhuhu
As I’ve said, I woke up kinda late so I wasn’t able to see the sunrise. I was not sorry, though.
They enjoy the beach and the sun, swimming (or so I thought) and I try to, at least enjoy myself with my phone. Btw, there was no internet connection in the vicinity and I don‘t wanna watch TV so I had no choice but to enjoy with my phone, readibg, listening to music or playing Word Search, 94 Seconds and What‘s The Word.
That’s it, our first (unsuccessful) summer escapade this year. I hope the next time we plan something like this, the weather will let us to do our thing. If you know what I mean.. I heard we’ll still pursue our original plan (to go to Subic Island), I just don’t know when or with whom. Me and my siblings were also planning to convince our cousins to go to Caramoan one of these days! Hopefully we’ll be able to do it! :D
